Whatley Lane Solicitors offer a twice weekly drop in service whereby members of the public can come in to see specialist solicitors.
Wednesdays 1 – 2pm and Fridays 4 – 5pm
Subject to the following requirements we will be pleased to offer a free no obligation assessment of your legal problems (including property, estate planning, employment, debt, matrimonial/cohabitation and private criminal) up to a maximum of 20 minutes and if your case should lead to formal instructions then a further 20% discount will be given on our usual legal fees (if appropriate, not given in conjunction with other promotional offers and fixed price services).
1. Production of at least one form of photographic ID (passport or driving licence) and proof of address within the last 3 months
2. The assessment is for a maximum time limit of 20 minutes on a first come first served basis
3. That you are not eligible for legal aid/benefits
4. That you agree for us to retain your contact details
5. The following are specifically excluded from the Legal Surgery:
(a) Witnessing of Wills and other documents not prepared by Whatley Lane Solicitors
(b) Certification of Identity and/or other personal documents
(c) Mortgage or other financial/tax Advice
(d) The Commission of Oaths/sworn documents
6. If you have already received advice on the subject matter by Whatley Lane howsoever this has been achieved (i.e. by a fixed fee appointment, another legal surgery or over the telephone, this list is not exhaustive)
